Tell Us How We're Doing – Have Your Say!

All 39 City and Hackney GP practices are run by senior GPs under a partnership model. The GP partners in the practice decide how to organise themselves in their surgeries to give you the best possible care.

If you have comments to share about how your local surgery is doing, why not join a patient participation group or post on the Care Opinion site’s Tell Your Story page?

Patient Participation Groups

Every GP practice should each have a Patient Participation Group – patients and locals who are ‘critical friends’, who volunteer to work with practices to help make things better. Some practices find this easier than others to organise and put in place. You can always talk to your surgery team – and share your thoughts about what’s good, what is working well and what might need to change or improve.

Contact your surgery and ask for the practice manager.

  • You can really help shape improvements in local healthcare by visiting the Care Opinion site’s Tell Your Story page.
  • It’s designed by doctors to find out what you really think about your care experiences, in hospitals and health care settings. City and Hackney is the only area in the UK using the Care Opinion platform in GP practice – and its results show more than 75 per cent of our patients say they are really happy with their GP surgery.

If you have comments to share about how your local surgery is doing, post on the Care Opinion site’s Tell Your Story page.
